Farming at Mohgwyn Palace
I genuinely hope they nerf the amount of runes you get from those Albinaurics, or increase their holy resistance so it takes multiple WAs from the SRS. People who farm with the SRS are so cheap imo. Where's the effort, or risk? You forfeit your bragging rights of reaching a high level.
You just sit there clicking your button effortlessly... Now think about that last word and how it doesn't fit/belong in an FS title.

Even people who farm the bird with their bows are significantly less cheap because they at least have to aim and devote significantly more time to their farm lol. Prayer Room to Elphael Inner Wall (my personal favorite farm for runes) will net you more runes than that bird, and at a faster rate though. You'll also get more bragging rights over those goons farming at Mohgwyn Palace

Just saying farming runes needs to present just as high of a risk as it has in past titles. Think of the run from Prayer Room to Elphael Inner Wall and clearing everything in between... except the Revenant alley (understandably). The risk of farming at Mohgwyn Palace should be equally as dangerous for the player.

Instead of spiky cartwheels, I hope FS gives those red guys a powerful new attack where they're able to teleport behind you with a dangerous grab, and with maybe half a second for you to react, and with them being able to do it from any distance once they're initially aggro'ed. Would be fun to laugh at all the bloodstains at the expense of these cheap farmer goons :)

Meh, I say let them. It's a big waste of time anyways, in my opinion.

The point being, you have to beat Elden Beast to get the weapon that allows this kind of farming. NG+ is already a joke even without farming runes, so you're just making that worse.

Why does it matter for you when other people farm albinaurics
booooo , keep crying

Why you want to nerf someone? What they did to you? You know what? You can go and nerf yourself in the ear.(kidding....or not, get nerfed in the ear).

Im going to be a hypocrite but fine....can live with that.
I would make NG7> much harder and with better rune drops, forcing everyone who really wants to develop their character to the max to actually do something with merit....
The 90% of the overstuffed guys are dull as ditch water, playing with katanas or anything spaming a single spell or L1...with 0 ingenuity. Makes the few of us who bother doing things with a degree of variety look bad

And yes i farmed albinaurics while binge watching whatever in my other screen but also did insane amounts of Radagon/Malenia kills co-op.

At least people need to work for inf runes. Do you realize that ER is the first From SoulsBorne without an item/consumable duplication glitch of sorts?

Demon's had Nexial Binding Stockpile glitch
DS1 was dragon head dup glitch
DS2 was a couple, but Giant Lord boss farm was biggest
DS3 was a parry-frame dup glitch
Bloodborne was a falling anim dup glitch

And who cares if they want to be level 500+. They need more Vigor first and foremost, but otherwise will likely never run into you in PvP so it doesn't matter.

And bragging about high level is whatever anyway since people will play through to NG7 and be there also, which is more of the bragging point they beat the game at that difficulty. Besides, with how much people want to say ER is too hard or preforms the most VIG checks mid/late-game, I would sooner be bragging about beating the game at the low level of 115 or something, while everyone else needs more.

Not crying, read what the first post said, it reiterates my point in a much cleaner manner.

I just think it would be funny if the devs pulled a fast one on you guys who farm that spot. I bet y'all like watching paint dry too. The Haligtree farming run is much more enjoyable and involves more skill. My point is how could you find the mass of runes from the Albinaurics enjoyable over playing the game how its, y'know... supposed to be played.

I also don't necessarily mind the farming large amounts, just that it should be at risk of being lost constantly throughout your farming experience imo lol. Where's the fun without the risk? It's almost like you're watching paint dry considering the relevance this game has in the real world.

What's that, never even heard of it, did it earn you more souls than farming the three winged knights at Lothric or the Drakeblood knight/Havel?

I hear they actually plan to cut the ablinaurics hp by 40% and increase rune drop by 30%.

Being able to farm runes that quickly does affect lower-level players indirectly because the higher-level players would have easier access to level up Endurance and be able to carry a larger number of heavier, late-game weapons/armaments, compared to lower-level players.... players who could probably only populate 3 or 4 weapon slots, at most, before they start 'fat-rolling'.

Of all the things to complain about in this game, why pick this? Literally nobody cares about bragging rights. It's a video game.

Even if someone did want to brag for some dumb reason, they could just lie and say they got the runes legit and no one would know or be able to prove otherwise.

You might have a point if you could get randomly matched with higher level players in multiplayer. but that doesn't happen. (Barring password summons, which would exist regardless)

Balance patches should be just that, to balance the experience. Not to spite the player. People like to feel like they're gaming the system, and leveling up is fun and addictive. Yeah, leveling up makes things easier. Welcome to RPGs, that's how it's always been.

Doesn't matter since the two will never interact unless they use a password intentionally

I went to this zone a little earlier than I wanted to and cleared it (did not farm). Leveled up more than I would have liked. It would have provided me a better end-game experience had it not provided so many damn runes. I didn't know it was a farm location until way later.

Eh never got the point of all these rune farms anyway. It's not like Runes are in short supply past Limgrave. As you get into late game you will struggle to find things to even spend them on unless you intend to level up beyond 125/150.

Thats mandatory if you want to hit RL 678 or above. Combined with co-op spam its actually fun and all, but you really need to have a proper grinder mindset and be commited to develop a single character making it a god.

Is this a good use of time? Of course thats subjective but as someone there i say yes, it is and this is the first souls game i bothered getting there or spamming NG+ for consumables.
I can use every single build of the game in the best way posible and of course im having a blast.

"People enjoy a game differently than I do, in a way that does not impact my personal experience with the game one whit; however, I am insecure enough to hope that these same people lose one of their routes to enjoying the game, because it is not a route I enjoy, and is therefore wrong.

What do you mean, 'my desire to control what other people do in the privacy of their own homes presages a career in politics'?"
