Also invaders can use backups to spam anything they stored during the run (same goes for OL-phantoms that do not need to progress btw).
Normally I would say it is an issue, but with OL phantoms not being scaled properly and invasions (unless tongue is used) being 1v2 at best - nah any host that got spanked by invader with that conditions deserves it for being that bad.
Sadly your idea won't solve the issue, since they just can spawn in the items with CE or use a mod to buy them in offline mode. But maybe it would help a little bit, idk.
Low level PvP is notorious in all of the souls games for being overrun with twinks. I was doing a taunters run and had multiple invaders in Limgrave duel wielding Vykes and throwing rot pots. Best advice is to just avoid coop in early game. Like with any other souls game
It apparent that the anti-cheat for this game isn't very effective but it does catch some people. Not everybody is willing to install a cheat especially when a method that won't even have a chance to be flagged is known.
