What staff should I work toward using and upgrading?

As an Int build I'm still using glintstone staff +14.. What is the best staff to use later game? I only have so many smithing stones / somber stones so I want to know which one should I pick, and build my INT scaling to meet the requirement for.. There's so many staffs in the game.. Right now my Int is 42 and I'm wearing a talisman to make INT to 45. There's also crowns/.head gear I can put on until I can get my INT high enough

You'll get tons of upgrading materials (even unlocking them at the round table shop).

But it depends on the type of magic that you're gonna use. If you use "crystal magic" (don't remember the name), you should try to use one of the staffs that enhances that magic.

But to be honest, I'm still not sure about how magic works exactly.

Carian Regal Scepter and Lusat's Glintstone Staff are great in end game

I just used the meteorite stuff and Renallas stuff
both are great for specific sorceries

In the end if you want to be kinda op go for Stars of Ruin which is a bit hard to get but watch youtube.

That spell destroys basically most lategame bosses easily

If you plan to invest 70+ into INT, then Carian Regal Scepter is the best one without any downsides. Lusat's Staff is even better, but spells cost 50% more FP to cast. Up to you.
