Also thought the fight with him was sick and they did a really cool job of keeping the identity of the boss the same while having a much more intense phase 2. I wish this was the last boss in the game as the fight after it was the disappointing one that makes little to no sense IMO.
Nah: if the Crucible Knights even thought of going against the Golden Order, Radagon himself would have quartered them (they already show symbols which precede the Golden Order, so they are a risk for Marika’s Church).
Instead, they participated in the Shattering, each and every one of them picking a side: some stayed with Morgott (the 2 we find in the Capital) others picked a different patron and demigod. But only because they never reneged on their oath to Marika, their existence was tolerated.
When it hits the fan , this guy gets naked and rips people apart with his bare hands.
Radan can have his swords , Morgot his sword and omen powers.
This guy is gonna stick his thumbs in your face holes and rip your skull in half!
Sword given to the lesser giants who fought for the Erdtree
during the War against the Giants long ago.
Godfrey wasn't a one-man army.
i just cheked and yeah, it is said in his armor description:
''He led the War against the Giants. Faced the Storm Lord, alone. And then, there came a moment. When his last worthy enemy fell. And it was then, as the story is told, that the hue of Lord Godfrey's eyes faded.''
Edit: but also...
Marika is the one to curse the last remaining Giant.
