Ranni's Quest line
How are you supposed to know when not to continue Seluvis quests in order for Ranni and Blaidd not to disappear?

Well dark souls questlines have always been super vague so mabye it is the point

Well that's true but it doesn't hurt to help other people even tho it will be spoilers but it doesn't matter to them

If you're talking about the Amber Draught, it should be pretty obvious at that stage that Seluvis' potions are dangerous and that he is asking you to betray Ranni.

As far as I'm aware you can atone at the Church of Vows anyway and they will reappear.

So if i don't betray Ranni i can still continue her quest or?

Yes. You can follow Seluvis' instructions all the way until he asks you to give Ranni the potion. You can then just hold on to it, and continue Ranni's questline as normal.

The main reason to get the Amber Draught from Seluvis is because he rewards you the Magic Scorpion Charm.

you can stop it after you get the magic scorpion charm from seluvis and wont miss out on any thing else from him and resume ranni's quest. Its easier to screw up the other way round, if your working on ranni's quest as long as you dont give her the finger blade, you can still complete seluvis quest up to the point you get the charm if I remember correctly
