Mohgwyn Trident OP i guess?
Ok seriously, why people find it so hard to get away from this AOW? ._.

Its an obvious and slow animation, sure in a enclosed area it can be really strong, but when you have more than enough room to easily get away from it... yeah.

The natural instinct when seeing an enemy player wind up an attack isn't normally to run for the hills: Running almost always doesn't work, since the vast majority of player attacks have good enough tracking to make blocking or dodging a requirement.

So, being confronted with an attack that requires this reflex (and requires you to be good at it) is probably very far from the front of a player's mind.

That actually kinda makes sense.

I mean, Bleed IS OP, but this AOW? not really.

Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear's AOE radius is longer than most Ash of War skill. I have tried running from a red further away than my Ice Spear skill and the poke in the air skill still got me.
Faust Wither Aug 19, 2022 @ 4:02am
the weapon is a panic inducting, roll at right time and cancel it cast.

It's normal attack has good range and can easily stagger target, except using it gets old fast.

But its a bleed weapon and you hate bleed in its fullest. Never seen someone so passionate about anything in all ds series as your hatred of all things bleed :lunar2019grinningpig:
What i want is mainly nerfing how fast you can apply bleed, not the status itself.

Mate you hate bleed understood. BUT, you choose to invade as do others and all we see is the invaders come on forum and want everything nerfed just like other threads. Nerf ROB its done then its nerf moonveil then its godskin peelers then its rot then its fire its never ending complaints from players who lose to a build
Rot and Fire are ok mate.

The only issue with Peeler is just that its a Twinblade, which when Powerstanced allows to proc bleed too fast.

Also, i usually do Co-Op more than i Invade, the issues still apply.

Regarding Rot actually, only problem i have with it, is that the Boluses are really limited... its a freaking pain in the ass to farm the mats for those things.

its good for making space to drink a flask or to cast something annoying, just dont use it point blank or you'll get back stabbed. If your stacking a ton of poise it might be good for trading with stuff like storm stomp
Yard-Dog® Aug 19, 2022 @ 5:47am
It can be pretty OP if used with skill. It's bleed AND fire damage, and if used 3 times in a row with certain talismans, armor pieces, and magic buffs, it bursts, melts, and staggers hapless victims. I love this weapon, but it can be hard-punished with a smart approach.
Lizzie Aug 19, 2022 @ 7:18am
its pretty easy, if theyre next to u backstab, if theyre decently far away just roll out, you might get clipped a bit but you shouldnt die. if its in invasions... well its easy to bait out, since theyre usually just expecting you to run into it and die. instead of doing a 180 once ur in range.
its funny how much people complain about op stuff, eventho the genuinly op stuff is not that well known, its mostly just stuff thats really easy while being very strong.
also throwables, if u dont wanna farm just buy 999 kukuri.

(replying to the first few posts)
Bleed isn't op, what's op are seppuku and double spears/curved swords with bleed.
P.S. I forgot about double twinblades jump L1 with bleed.
