Do not update to windows 11!

Recently updated to windows 11 and it has made ER sprout the white death screen upon launching the game. Beware of windows 11 if you like playing Elden Ring.

I have RTX 2070s, running it with up to date Manjaro system and proprietary drivers. I believe I have no custom tweaks, settings or other supplementary packages that could alter my GPU behavior. Running Elden ring with proton experimental.

Windows called it "insider preview" to get more people into it but isn't it pretty much a beta version? lol
don't use betas if you don't want problems.

Runs just fine on 11, make sure your drivers are updated for the graphics card you use and try clearing the DirectX Shader cache and temp files and then try running the game again. I had some stutters at first then it smoothed out for the most part. I would consider my system to be moving towards the low end of the spectrum given whats out there now....

The argument was never the degree to which the number is above 0, simply that the number is above 0 and does not qualify as "free".

Regardless of this, you jumped on an old conversation and, again, are hellbent on dying on this child-sized hill.
