When everyone is evil ... nobody is.

Sure I can, I can disagree on whether the "implications" make sense or not as well as disagree about the fact its "heavily implied" when I don't think it is implied as killing your maiden before you get to the Hold doesn't benefit his plans, and the ritual to induct you into his blood cult typically involves you killing your own maiden.
Pretty sure getting to roundtable without maiden is a test of sorts he uses to determine whether a tarnished will be worth recruiting or not.
No-one here caught the symbolism of 'lambkin'? Sacrifices are one of the game's recurring themes...

Varré works in service to a pedophillic incestuous demigod working to spread the influence of a sadomasochistic guro-enthusiast deity of blood throughout the world.

No, he is not in any way shape or form a good guy. HIS BOSS IS THE LITERAL SATAN EQUIVALENT OF THE SETTING!
AJAKAJAJKAKJAKJKAAKJ First time i see someone comparing Satan with a souls character, and i agree with you

If you're trying to quote me,How about providing the full quote instead of just the part you think you're getting a zinger on.

The problem with that theory is that its an impossible test, which is why he sends you to your death instead.

Well he invades you first on the way to Khor----erm the other Blood God. Then you somewhat counter invade him to get your revange.

I meant in the Tunnel/Cave up the way to - i really forgot his name lol - not Khorne.
since this influences my next playthrough:

my theory is, that its varre that kills irina, the maiden in front of the weeping peninsula after killing the boss of castle morne.
So my idea is to kill varre first by entiering mogh dynasty through his quest and do irinas quest afterwards, hoping she might become the players maiden, enabling to enter the roundtable hold without melina.

Question: has anybody tried that before? i mean killing Varre and mogh before doing irinas quest?
Umm ... Irina is killed by one of the rebelling mutants so that wouldn't affect anything.

how do you know that?

also follow up question: if you obtain the frenzy flame, before getting to the entrance of the earthtree, does melina still give you the rold medallion?

I mean, you can try, however, Irina is most likely killed by a Misbegotten. If you look closly, you even find a bloody Iron Hatched next to Irina´s corpse.

Varre isn´t a "good guy" by any means, but he isn´t a murder hobo either.

Edit: I tried several permutations of interaction(Irina/Father/Boss kill timing) and she always dies.
