The knight on the rampart can be shot safely if you climp to the top of the stairs from Rampart tower grace, sneak out to the left and around the little platform and backstab the guy with the horn, then kill the rest as they sleep, then jump up on the sandbags and onto the wall, down to the left is a small roof, follow the roof around the building and jump down onto another roof, perfect sniping spot.
The halberd guy, from the first spot jump onto the little ledge to your right, follow the ledge around the house and you will be above the halberd guy, easy kill.
The halberd + knight a little later, jump down to the halberd guy, cross the bridge and down a ladder killing stuff on the way, there will be 2 easy grunts sleeping, after those you can aggro the halberd guy when you cross the 2nd bridge, run back and up the ladder, turn right through some boxes and down on another roof, shoot him from there, he will be going up and down the ladder, rinse and repeat with the shielded knight.
I feel sorry for you, I really do. Whatever ego thing you need to satisfy to prove your badassery is a yawn frankly.
I'll leave you with this. I built a complete unique skill set fighting mounted. If YOU don't think it's legitimate, that's your damage.
And I'll BET you any money I can sometimes kill PVE enemies faster mounted than you can on foot.
Get over yourself.
Just run past them. I'm serious, the less you acknowledge the enemies in this game the easier you can get past them. It doesn't work all of the time, (especially in tight confines like corridors and small rooms), but often it's better to try that as opposed to smashing your head against a tough encounter for ten minutes.
