I hate Farum Azula Dragon....

That first dragon that lands at the beginning of the area? yeah he can go die a painful death in hell for all i care.

Too much HP, camera is atrocious, horrible lock on points, cant see anything he does, his attacks and size make it stupidly hard to consistently land attacks on the head, stupid double hitbox attacks, etc.

Well i wish i knew WHATS hes doing, knowing when he attacks isnt really the issue, but because you are essentially forced to attack the feet cause his head is basically impossible due to his attacks constantly moving it away, it makes it hard to know exactly what hes up to.

And a lot of his attacks have AOEs, which often roll catch due to being a follow up to his melee attacks.

No other dragon has this issue at all, only the Farum Azula variant.

More than half my deaths to him are of me falling off the edge. He's got the same target lock points as Fortissax IIRC.

Its cause Fortissax is basically a special version of it.

Lansseax is quite similar. then one on the hill before the outer wall in altus.

I sometimes think, the terrain is esp. problematic with many ER bosses.

Dunno what kind of build you are or level, but I spammed Lions Claw on the Guts Greatsword until the thing died. Worked great for me.

But Lansseax and this dragon specifically are basically the exact same, the rest of the dragons in the area dont have the lightning attacks though.

1. do not lock(and try to not lock on any big bosses);
2. use horse, run it for 2-3 hits, run out;

these are easiest of big bosses so far. any dragons, except lava wyrm.

compared to nioh 2, these dragons and many other bosses are just a joke. only some are actually legit good so far.
