Why does Mohg never stop attacking!!!!

As of right now, this was the only boss in the game where I just reworked my strategy to deal as much damage as possible as quickly as possible so I can minimize how long I had to fight him during phase 2 XD

I found Mogh quite difficult in an honest fight (i.e. without all the crap the game offers you to do nothing and still win).

But it's basically memorization like most of the other bosses. He is "fair" in the sense that he won't break the rules like Malenia does, but to my mind the fight is not very enjoyable, when I finally beat him without using the game's overpowered resources, I felt more relief of having finished a boring fight than satisfaction.

Then you are not overleveled at all... recommended level (which, of course, is subjective, but imho decently accurate) for Mohgwyn Palace is 110-140:

So I'd rather say you are somewhat UNDERleveled, no surprise if you are having a hard time against him

I'll say that his Nihil attack is terrible and shouldn't exist. I don't care that there's a way to negate it. I beat his ass at level 60 thanks to Cold Claws' Frostbite and Bleed procs. But having an attack that autokills every player below X vigor or consumes multiple estus flasks against those above X vigor is terrible design.

I don't think you're overleveled for the area. But I do think that his boss design kinda sucks.

Mogh's attacks are basically like Nameless King in Dark Souls 3. His attacks are delayed just enough to throw people off and catch them in their rolls. Also, his explosive claw attack can be more reliable dodged if you roll towards or walk to the opposite side where it won't hit. Mogh's all about timing and positioning.

when Mogh attacks, dodge.
when you see an opening, attack.

This can help a lot. The talisman which reduces fire damage taken is really good against Mogh. On NG+3 that was my life saver because he does a crap ton of damage in his 2nd phase

Ive been told by my buddies Mohgwyn Palace lvl 75 but if the level gap is that much back to grinding
