Any way to get runes back after dying to elden beast and then killing it

So I died at the elden beast, then went back killed radagon and got to elden beast again but I looked around in the arena and the compass and the runes werent there so i thought I'd be able to get them after the boss. But now after beating the boss there just stuck in some unreachable part of the map.

Are they gone forever? Probably wasnt going to level any further but it still hurts to lose 9 mil runes

I can replace them. Best advice dont enter a boss fight with runes you cant afford to lose

Again, i probably wasnt going to level any further for online reasons thats why i entered the boss without using them. Its just cool to see how many runes you can stack in ng+ and it feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to lose them for a dumb reason like this

Try doing the jump down after Mogh in underground area and lose a load that feels worse
