Would love to see more death mechanics for him. Stumbled on him and beat him first try lol
His second phase could need a bit more HP.
He is already a god
Every and each time I see them, I think to myself... "Buff... here we go again..."
Cheers!
Malenia should be unbeatable by lore.
Second-phase he will have another cutscene where improves his armor and becomes a spell blade. He will use the Ashes of War, like RoB, Transient, Bloodhound Finesse etc and has increased poise that is reasonable. So fighting him will be like the best version of an NPC invader but with Boss hp with two fighting styles as melee and range.
Both iterations of Ancestor Spirit could also use a bit of a decrease in attack interval and a quickening in its recovery for how slow and readable they are, despite the intention of their tone and design. Perhaps even more damage. You can be slow and beautiful but also dangerous.
Lichdragon Fortisaxx could use a tune up too, especially considering it's essentially the road test for one of the endings. Doesn't need to be too major, but I would appreciate if it felt more like an end boss.
Dragonlord Placidusax seems really beefy, but I think it could use a bit more chonk.
There are also plenty of side dungeon bosses with very little health that could use a bit of an adjustment.
Red Wolf of Radagon is a really fast boss, but it still feels really fragile. I think it could use some more survivability.
It only has your equipment at the start of the fight, so I assume they walk in without weapons then equip them mid-battle while getting punched. Now if it dynamically changed its equipment to match your setup then we'd be on to something.
Even if you don't cheese it this fight isn't terribly difficult and it gets my vote for requiring a buff.
If shes beatable with cheese, shes too easy.
