Seamless coop mod wont launch the game

I have the seamless coop mod added to the game folder and when I click the shortcut of the launcher the batch file flashes for a split second and disappears. Nothing actually starts or stays running in the background. Any idea on how to fix this?

Try to launch it as admin. Usually this fixes this issue.

Hmmm sounds like the trojan rootkit had issues loading, try disabling your firewall/antivirus and then running it as admin.

I resolved the problem. Just had to verify game files. My friend and I are experiencing new ingame issues now. One, the lock on sometimes fails and never works until we die again. Secondly, when we die, we cant respawn until we both die. The mod advertises that we should respawn.

I encountered the lockon bug with a friend, was pretty annoying but not game breaking.

You only go into spectator mode if you're dying to a boss (boss health bar present), otherwise you should respawn.

First make sure you BOTH have the most up to date mod version that you download from the official Nexus Mods as that is where the Dev updates it. If you get it anywhere else you are risking a lot.

Second those bugs were patched from what I remember so I have a big feeling you guys are using an outdated version.

Lastly unless you are in a boss fight you will re-spawn, which again if you are having issues I am 100% certain you are using and outdated version again go to the Elden Ring Nexus to download the latest version.

Which is just perfect, the pvp bros get to stop complaining for a bit, and it works out great for me, since I have several games with a higher priority than elden ring's DLC (like Wukong, Remnant 2's last DLC, etc.), and I get to buy the DLC when the seamless coop mod comes out :)

Mods usually break on major patches, so wait it out for a while.

Anyway, the mod is currently being updated and is in the testing phases before release for the DLC as of yesterday.

You downloaded the seamless coop, got it running, and could not even bother to look at the Discord or Nexus for info when it suddenly stopped working.
