Can't change resolution

Hello, i changed my laptop and got Windows 11. Now i can't play Elden ring because i can't change the resolution. I tried lots of solution (changing manually in %appdata%, trying geforce experience, putting graphic setting at maximum of windows settings, etc.) none of it worked. Do you have an idea ? I'm lost. Thank you

Are you able to run the game? Do you know what resolution it's at currently? Why exactly can't you change it? (Grayed it, can't see it, etc)

It's stucked at 800*450. I have zero idea why it crashes. I can play the game, but can't change the resolution. Everytime i try to change it, it crashes. I tried0 to change it in the %appdata%, the game wouldn't launch.

Try verifying files, and do it a few times in a row.

I tried 4 times. Still doesn't work. I also tried another game (because after all the laptop is new), borderlands 3, this one works perfectly.

I was hoping the problem was resolution larger than native. I've had that problem in the past. Unfortunately a have no other suggestions for your problem, other than maybe backing up your save and reinstalling? Sorry my dude.

Edit: maybe you have integrated AND discrete graphics, and ER is forcing integrated?

In nvidia panel control, i told the game to chose the Graphic card, and this also didn't work. Thank you anyway :)

I am experiencing this exact issue now too. No resolutions available unless I switch to windowed mode. Any resolution or monitor change causes game to crash.

I have verified files, uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics drivers. Feeling like I've run into a wall. Used to run great on this system.

Sounds like a fullscreen 60hz Problem i would look how many Resolution profiles in Windows exist are set that support 60Hz for the display and would try to add some more.

is that a ultra wide screen ? did you tried to add custom resolutions in your GPU driver that fit to elden rings resolutions ?

what happen if you choose the the same resolution with 60Hz in windows ?

have this same issue on a laaptop with a 360hz display. think it's tied to the refresh rate.

Have you tried connecting your laptop to a monitor or a TV?
Have you tried changing to windowed mode?

only the latter. crashes whenever you try to change to windowed mode or adjust the resolution.
