to get the most out of dual wielding use a weapon with status effects or super high ar with claw talisman and raptor chest piece
did you try jellyfish shield with it?
For hybrid int/fth builds at RL125-150 you really only have the Sword of Night and Flame, claymans harpoon (flame art), and erdsteel (flame art)dagger that can scale with those stats.
The dual straight sword moveset is really good and you can always stack the magic and fire crystal tears for ~40% more damage.
If this is for PvE, since you can invest 60 levels into both int and fth without any repercussion, just use whatever is strongest. No clue what your rune level is but I'm guessing it's fairly high. Just stick with your occult build if that's what is strongest/fun to play with.
If you want to optimize dual wielding then sure you get way better results with status effects, but that's just taking the fun out of the game anyways.
Ohman I read the last part too late, yeah if you're looking for something better than optimized bleed then no the Night and flame, pretty much any weapon in the game will have a hard time coming even close to the Scravengers.
Wonder it there is a better weapon that will fit my arcane build, so without respec, to take over those two last bosses...
Just use physical occult weapons, I have two occult Lordsworn Straightswords for non-bleedable enemies, might not be nowhere near optimal but they still work wonders in DPS and a fast moveset.
Sometimes I wonder if this is better to have a slow hard hitting weapon or fast swinging ones for those last boss, because when you have to evade often it is hard to have time to hit several times.
