Ainsel River Well Depths crashing

This is a problem that arose very recently (as I believe I unlocked the site of grace some time in the past 2 weeks and just traveled back up the elevator to come back another time) and I wanted to know if it was happening to anyone else. I loaded into the Ainsel River Well Depths site of grace and my game immediately crashes. It continues to crash whenever I try and load the file located there. I tried everything bar a fresh install to alleviate the issue.

- Changed graphics settings at the title screen to every option
- Disabled the HUD (which doesn't get rid of area text)
- Disabling all other apps
- Running game in offline mode

-My last gambit was I thought it might have something to do with the armor or weapons I was wearing at the time so I bit the bullet and went to another file that's progressed far beyond the file that got stuck crashing. The file worked as normal in all the other areas of the game I visited but as soon as I took it to the Ainsel River Depths site of grace that file got caught in an infinite loop of crashing as well.
It seems to crash as the area text tries to load onto the screen.

Any ideas?

If you have not yet I would try verifying the game files integrity. Click on Library, right click Elden Ring, Click Properties, then Local Files and click Verify Integrity of Game Files
