Performance fix???

You already know about the bad performance the game has so I won't describe that.

My question is, Is there a mod that fixes the performance issues or is there a way to fix it without mods (for example: with nvidia settings)?

You could try to disable Easy Anti-Cheat at first.
The bad thing about it is you cant play online while Easy Anti-Cheat is disabled.
If ti wont get better you could try mods, go to nexusmods and look around.

Use performance plus quality non FP regen it's awesome plus now there's the coop mod so you can use the performance mod and coop

You mean it has bad performance for you. It has great performance for me. Which one of us is right? We both are. The difference is based on the exact hardware and software configuration of each persons PC which are all different. I think a lot of the problems are caused by older CPU's that can't deliver the performance the game requires. I don't know whether that can be fixed because the game uses one of the CPU cores far more than the others. If that one core can't handle the load then you get problems. Ideally the load on all cores should be almost equal. I know nothing about coding but I suspect the various tasks in this game can't be equally divided among the cores. Most likely shader compilation.

This actually worked, but yeah, no online kinda ruins the experience.
But at least the game runs at 60 fps now.

This boosted my fps from 20-40 to 40-50. It kinda worked, but it still lagged sometimes.
Disabling eac was much more effective.

try the seam-less co-op mod. you can play with friends. but do be warned it doesn't scale the bosses sometimes so you might not wanna fight the good bosses together (all 4 good bosses in elden ring kek)
