Benchmarks?
I genuinely cant find any decent benchmark for this game, they all seem to just pit GPUs against each other without taking the rest of the system in consideration, best one i could find is specific for notebooks and doesnt really answer my questions

Is there no benchmark tool? No collection of user-made benchmarks? I filtered thru 3 pages of google and all these pc-gamer level articles are trash tier
Does anyone have something better than what i can find online?

The game is highly unoptimised, and has a wide array of technical issues across machines (some of which have the same specs). Some people with top end parts have had a ton of issues, while others have had zero. The community can't really agree on what the sole cause of all the problems are, so that's why there's not a lot of concrete data.

I'm sure someone out there has figured out at least a good amount of it, but again you might get wildly different results. You're better off posting your specs and asking if others have had any issues with a similar build.

I noticed, that's why I was hoping to find some user-generated benchmark collection, at the very least to see some concrete numbers and settings

Anyway: Ryzen 5 5600X, nvidia geforce rtx 3050, 8gb ram, plenty of storage
obviously my main concern is ram, not a big issue but this month was brutal and i'd rather not spend an extra 50 quids

If it makes any difference, my main objective is playing the seamless coop mod with 2 friends, i will probably be the host

So you gonna benchmark that cards reach 60 fps cap? :D
Sham! May 30, 2022 @ 2:02am
i mean, i'd love to try if i could find a benchmark tool for this game

There isn't one and won't be. Recommended specs is your best guide. For gameplay search on youtube with the cards you are interested in.

The RAM may be an issue, but since you've mentioned you're looking to play with the seamless co-op mod, there are other mods that can improve performance as well. So I think based off your current specs you should be fine.

Thanks, from what i am reading one of the biggest performance killers are indeed the online services, but again it's so hard to gauge the actual impact of this kind of things with the poor tools or "benchmarks" I am seeing online

For instance i cant genuinely tell if most of these videos are with online off or on, they simply dont say that much

I guess I really have to check myself

steam is having a stroke
r5 2600 and 1x8gig ram @ 3200/c15ish, not gpu bound, offline, game on ssd
monitoring with rivatuner frametime graph
shadows always on highest because they're mud on anything else

@high settings, max texture quality+shadows
dropping to a single stick, game went from 60fps with usual fromsoft stutter to ~45-50 with slightly worse and more regular frametime spikes, occasional 50-90ms spikes when covering distance
2600 has pretty bad throughput as is and single stick makes it chug so take with a grain of salt
game ram usage at like ~3.5-4gigs, total system ram usage on w10 hovering between 80-90% with minimal background programs

@low settings, max shadows, medium textures
2.5ish game ram usage, seen it dip as low as 1.8g
50-60ish fps with usual game stutters
notably less stutter compared to high settings, not too different from how the game runs for me with both sticks in
grass on medium [lowest] seems to make things run a bit smoother, high also seems okay but slightly worse than med
lower textures maybe helps?

nothing particularly notable happening in the heaviest areas i know of
pop in maybe worse? it's been a while since i played and they adjusted lods to be worse in a recent patch so not sure
if your ram is 2x4 i imagine you should be fine

nice, thank you for going the extra mile

it seems i should be just fine without compromising too much, if there are extra stability mods i can use in offline mode all the better
looking forward to this experience, see you around maybe :teeheepero: 👍

If you don't mind playing offline check of the performance mod on nexus gave me +10to20fps threw out the game.
I used the performance plus quality non FP regen version game still looks great.

Also that new coop mod should work fine so you can coop with the performance mod

Thanks my guy, I was checking some of the stability mods and I think I straight up missed this one, I'm actually impressed by how much stuff the mod community has pushed in so little time

Looks solid, will make sure to use it if I ever have some issues running the videogame

Yea grass volumetric fog and max shadows just set all thoses to medium these 3 settings are the biggest performance hits also check out a program named Lossless Scaling pretty cool tool for me I play at 1080p but the game looks like 1440P but even sharper you have a higher looking resolution game but the performance of a lower resolution
