Seamless Co-op will kill the community..

You guys realize that you're actively destroying the humble PvP community by playing this illegal mod, you know that, right? Us Pvpers have been forced out of DS1, DS2, and DS3 PvP since the servers are down with no signs of coming back up. And now in Elden Ring we have a majority of co-op players moving over to this illegal trash mod, which will make us have to wait even longer to find players to invade. We already had the disadvantage since it's a 1v2, and now you cowards will run away to this mod where there is no invasions.
Just letting you guys know that you're destroying the community. That is all.

Elden ring is good? Souls games are fun? What more reason does anyone need? Some people mod, some don't, it's fine either way. If a mod gets you closer to your desired experience, go for it! I have an after market fan on my laptop because I wanted more cooling, nothing wrong with that either. PvP isn't going to die, it will still be there for you, just without some people in it. Probably the people who'd look for cheese tricks to avoid PvP anyway. Like AFK farming, or using a Steam block list.

You just have to wonder: is it really worth buying them if you constatnly have to use ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ways to farm and exploit system? Why not just playing something that is intended for the experience you searching for, like Divinity: Original Sin, Deep Rock Galactics, Dying Light, Vermintide or something else.

Those are some good games, Dying Light in particular has an incredible movement system. It's like someone played Mirrors Edge and was inspired to make a zombie game. I own and play all these games, I've got an obnoxious amount of time in Deep Rock. I also happen to enjoy the combat and world of Elden Ring so I play that too. Mostly with my friends.

Orcs must die, Craft The World, Shadow Warrior 2, Trine, Tribes of Midgard, Payday, Thea 2, Minecraft, Sanctum, Serious Sam, Dead Space 3, Torchlight, Total War: Warhammer, Majesty, Saints Row, Far Cry, Alien Swarm, Baldurs Gate 3, Borderlands, Terraria, For The King... there are a lot more.

Netcode is as much art as it is science. They do the best they can.

They made some questionable decisions. Its not P2P which wouldnt be a problem if they would use world wide servers instead only american ones. Im from Europe and if i play with my brother the data goes to Washington state and comes back to the same house. With a physical distance of 10 meters we got 800 ms. Thats not a great experience.
I know its an amazon service but there are servers around the world eg. in Paris.
The P2P mod connection is way more superior and not mentioning the fact that we dont get disconected after 2 minutes.

It's not about difficulty.

Though self-note, may have to try D:OS2 on tactician, and play through more of DRG.
