Seamless Co-Op Mod (Experimental Version 2.0)
Download Seamless Co-Op Mod from:
Nexusmods[www.nexusmods.com]

File size: 1.5MB
Unique account downloads in 1 year 901K
Seamless Co-Op Discord LFG channel.[discord.com]
This is currently an experimental build so expect a few bugs.
(ver. 2.0)
What's new in ver. 2.0: (Updated on 5/23 @ 4PM ET) - Increased the player count to support 127 players (note this has only been tested up to 15) - Added PvP, PvE, and boss rush modes. You can access these with the shrines at rountable hold and the Limgrave and Caelid areanas - Fixed some inconsistencies with packet order - Modified the way clients initially connect with each other - Removed the Varré quest line skip - Added visual effects to rot - Changed some mod icons If you'd like to use this experimental version, then you must replace **ALL** mod files *including the launcher*. A clean install of seamless co-op is strongly recommended.
Not compatible with mods; The seamless co-op launcher is required for functionality. Wait for stable release if you require usage of other mods.

Info about the mod:
- Mod which removes all multiplayer boundaries and allows for connections to persist after death.

- Play with friends from the tutorial to the very end of the game, with synchronized progress, and no re-summoning or interruptions.

- Enemy scaling is fixed (it didn't work at all previously). It now mimics Elden Ring's (25%/50%/75%) buff on enemies for 1, 2, and 3 co-operators respectively.

- Voting enables synchronized fast travelling in the game. All players in the session must agree to warp to a specific destination. Once the vote passes, all players are warped at the same time.

- Map waypoints are now synced with other players in the session, making it easier to communicate where you'd like to explore or areas of interest.

- Evergaols, portals, etc. now all work correctly and affect other players in the session allowing you to tackle usually restricted areas in multiplayer.

- When dying in a boss fight, you will be unable to re-spawn and enter a spectator mode until either the boss is dead or every other player dies. This lets bosses keep their challenge while allowing you to stay together in a multiplayer session.

- A stack-able debuff mechanic called Rot Essence has been added. It is acquired on death and can be removed when resting at a bonfire. There are currently 3 varied effects that can stack both with others and themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):

Q) Can the mod get me banned?
A) No, the mod doesn't connect to the matchmaking servers and does not use FromSoftware's online services and therefore you can't get banned for using it.

Q) What is the player cap?
A) The maximum player count in a party is 127 (1 host + 126 guest players). Only tested up to 15 player simultaneously in ver 2.0.

Q) Are there invasions?
A) No, there are no invasions.

Q) How do items work?
A) Items are unique to every player. If boss drops a talisman pouch for example, everyone will get it. The same applies to items found in the world and enemy drops.

Q) How do sites of grace/bonfires work?
A) If one player sits at a site of grace anywhere in the world an enemy/world reset will occur for every player. If a player is fighting a non-open world boss at this time, they will be placed back outside the fog wall and the fight will be reset.

Q) Is progress shared?
A) Yes progress is shared. But it only applies to actions you do whilst in a player's world - for example if you start a fresh character and join a player to kill an end-game boss, only that boss will be dead in your world and you won't inherit all of the other player's progress they had before you joined.

Q) How does it work with the anti-cheat?
A) It doesn't, the mod uses a separate launcher which runs the game without launching Easy Anti-Cheat.

Q) Can I use other mods?
A) Yes, however for regulation / param file edits everyone in the party must have them active in order for them to be visible. (e.g. if just 1 player uses a randomizer, it will only work for that player). Also, not in experimental build 2.0

Q) Does this worked for cracked/pirated games?
A) No.

Q) Isn't this just easy mode?
A) Not necessarily, while co-op play does make the game objectively easier, it's also a completely different way to play the game. There are plenty of "easy mode" mods out that that just give you high health/damage. This mod will be easier but is made in mind of those who want to play the game the whole way through with friends. It has been designed with fun in mind as opposed to reducing the challenge.

Q) Can I modify or redistribute this mod?
A) No.

Q) Can I use my save game from the base game?
A) Yes[/b]

All other info can be found on the Mod Description Page[www.nexusmods.com]

Installation:
Compatibility with other mods has not been tested. You may use other mods, so long as they do not interfere with the multiplayer aspect of the game, or edit any of the items the mod uses to function.

• Download the mod from the 'Download'[www.nexusmods.com] tab.
• Extract the package you downloaded, and move the following files to your Elden Ring folder (usually in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDENRING\Game").
• Edit "cooppassword.ini" to your chosen co-op password.
• Launch the mod using "launch_elden_ring_seamless_coop.exe".

A new save game is recommended (but not necessary)
As a precaution, please backup your original game saves located at %AppData%\Eldenring.

Usage:
Fang eredeti hozzászólása:
Set the coop password in SeamlessCoop\cooppassword.ini
The host must use the Tiny Great Pot to create a session.
At that point, the other players can join using the Effigy of Melina.
You should spawn in at a point nearby the host. Any player can leave at any time using the Separating Mist
- If the host uses this item, the session will be disbanded and all players will disconnect.

Updated to 1.4.4 then to 1.4.5 in first post. Please take note of the new addition of a "crashpad" folder and put that in the install location as well.
Does the seamless coop mod have phantom scaling? Are overleveled phantoms' stats scaled down to host's level in this mod like they would in vanilla game using password summons. Thanks!

Aww I would prefer it to be retained so we wouldn't have to worry too much about balancing our characters when playing together but I guess it's not too big of an issue. Good to know, thanks!

if your playing together you aren't gonna be 300+ levels above one another.

You can always dl other mods that allow you to edit your character, and knock off a few levels.
Been playing with this mod with my kids for a few weeks now. Overall it's fantastic, but the game does crash pretty often for all 3 of us. I've tried verifying game files like the nexus page suggests but it hasn't seemed to help. Anyone know an actual fix for the crashing or experiencing the same problem?
Macaulay Culkin eredeti hozzászólása:
This mod is very fun to play with your friends. It actually makes you feel that the game should be done in this way from the beginning. Still I've got troubles with enemy's HP scale: when I'm playing with 1 friend - everything looks ok, bosses can be killed, HP looks fine. But when we start playing with 2 other friends (So it's 3 of us) - HP scale goes off. For example: Fire Giant. Originally he has around 40k HP. But during our tries we cannot kill him for several hours. I tried to kill him on singleplayer - he dies really quickly. We tried to kill him with cheat - my friend hit him with 500k damage - it took only a half of his HP. According to mod's description - his HP should be 80k, but it's definitely higher. I noticed that bosses' HP goes too much higher on Starscourge Radahn, probably something with scaling, but I can be wrong

This. Once you start playing with more than 1 person, the enemies health values start scaling out of control. Whoever decided to make the 3,4,5 player scaling values didn't do his math right, or its bugged.

Lovely mod, unfortunately it kinda killed Invasions, but I think that the mod is neat.

invasions are still there if you dont use the mod, no worries.

Sadly the mod's impact on invasions was negligible.

Then again hopefully it was enough for fromsoftware to scratch this crappy invasion mechanic in further titles, or at least make it completely optional :)

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hope not, if you lose against someone invading you and your buddies, its not that big of a deal lmao

I don't think enough information exists to definitively prove that either way. In any case, what evidence does exist seems to suggest the opposite; there was a good albeit very biased thread on the subject a while back which suggests that unless the vast, vast majority of Seamless users wouldn't have played coop without it, it probably does have a significant impact on the playerbase.

I agree that the mod as an impact on the invasion , negligible or no. but you should not say it , some people get mad when they read that.

I hope they don't remove invasion but I also hope they don't do it Elden ring style again. by that I mean no covenant and not much to gain from it... where are the purple invader? they were the best.
