Aww I would prefer it to be retained so we wouldn't have to worry too much about balancing our characters when playing together but I guess it's not too big of an issue. Good to know, thanks!
This. Once you start playing with more than 1 person, the enemies health values start scaling out of control. Whoever decided to make the 3,4,5 player scaling values didn't do his math right, or its bugged.
Then again hopefully it was enough for fromsoftware to scratch this crappy invasion mechanic in further titles, or at least make it completely optional :)
I don't think enough information exists to definitively prove that either way. In any case, what evidence does exist seems to suggest the opposite; there was a good albeit very biased thread on the subject a while back which suggests that unless the vast, vast majority of Seamless users wouldn't have played coop without it, it probably does have a significant impact on the playerbase.
I hope they don't remove invasion but I also hope they don't do it Elden ring style again. by that I mean no covenant and not much to gain from it... where are the purple invader? they were the best.
