1.0 came out may 27, the game started "dying" (if you can call 60k concurrent dying) long before that
the game is "dying" because it has been out for several months, and people have finished the game, moving on, as happens ot literally every video game
its losing players for a couple of things. the mod is one of them, so it doesn't help.
anyway you have to be pretty stupid to pretend the mod has no effect on the summon/invasion pool.
what is debatable is how many players were lost to it.
plus you are working under the assumption that people have to be part of the invasion pool, which is a pointless remark: nobody is under any obligation to play a way you deem accepable.
in the end, numbers show the facts, the game was losing players for months, cause it doesn't take months to beat a game, the mod didn't suddenly make it lose more players, its rate of decrease is stable before the mod is even released and contiunes onward, which you can see on the chart.
your remark is simply an entitled "if they dont play online they're not allowed to play at all" remark, which is pointless, the mod exist and people will keep using it.
anything else? co-op pool=/= playerbase, 60k concurrent players=/= 60k in the pool either, it also includes people playing solo for example.
cool, every time you kill someone it gets lowered too, whats your point.
nobody cares what you think either: this thread is about the mod, which people will use, even if you dislike it.
complain all you want, it's here to stay
but cmon you say whatever. atleast brain cancer is not contagious.
sexism? oh im sorry i forgot i speak to AI who cant proceed with normal animal functions. but if you are an AI you lack of logic.
dont worry im mature enough to fill a report to fromsoftware community management.
i guess they will share my thoughts.
"bla bla bla its not sexism to use the idea of changing into another gender as a negative result, its clearly a normal and healthy thing to say"
/s
mocking aside, report away, their stance is known, as long as the mod doesn't connect to the multiplayer service, it runs no risk.
mods been out for months, they literally cant do anything about it, you realize?
they are many things you fails to understand. one of them is that its not only affecting invasion. co-op is affected too.
the numbers show the game is losing players yes. it does not tell why they stop playing tough. one thing is for sure the mod did affect the summoning/invasion pool. unless all those who play the mod never played online. its simple to understand.
the chart shows a decline in players happening before the mod existed, and remaining stable even after, the mod has no impact upon that.
your claim has nothing supporting it, provide your own charts or proof if you're gonna make claims the mod is affected the playercount.
enough of poop talk to a programmed AI
IE: people who actively are using the mod are part of the ongoing playerbase, and even then has no impact on the dwindling number of players.
or were you not aware those people using the mod are included in the steam chart?
