Great Mystery
So i have very huge mystery guys.

I vent into mines, you know, where those stony mining guys mine things...

So i armed my self with two weapons, Pickaxe and Club

My strenght and dexterity is the same - 10 points.

If I use Club and hit mining guy with Club, i take him with power attack HALF of hitpoints.

If I use Pickaxe, which got almost identical stats, i take him juts 2 mm of hitpoints, just a tiny little bit...

Both weapons are on the same rack, they got almost identical stats, they both Strike weapons...

So why?

Where is the difference tgat one weapon take HALF of hitpoints and second one just a tine little bit?

???

Just tested it with a mace vs warpick both un-upgraded. The warpick did 11 damage and the mace did 44. I'm guessing that the warpick, despite being listed as strike, is a split between pierce and strike favoring piece (or mislabeled). Therefore, the miners are mostly resistant to the pick despite being listed as a strike weapon

Hope this helps

doesn't the pickaxe require something like 22 strength? Or am I thinking of a different weapon? If you don't meet core stat requirements, that's likely why you're not seeing the damage output.
Crom Oct 4, 2022 @ 2:05pm
same stats requirment

just club is DEX - C
and pickaxe is DEX - D, STR -D

but on statistic table they do almost identical damage

Is this the pickaxe you're talking about?

https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Pickaxe

If so, you need 22 strength to wield the weapon effectively (two-handing does reduce the required strength). If it's a different weapon, can you link it?

Edit: The letters you referenced indicate the weapon's scaling, not their level requirement. You get more bonus damage from your strength stat if a weapon has an A scaling vs a D scaling.

This is no....ok im going to put it in a format you will understand.

The only mistery here is why you didnt posted a screenshot of you character as i told you yesterday.

Nothing else matter, im here to help you but really need to look how hideously and malformed you character is.

Or else every time you try to help someone they will middle finger sever you.

Look at Patches, that should be your goal. He is just awful in every way posible but people like him.

Dont set yourself goals you are no competent enough to achieve, will save you a lot of dissapointments.

You know what you can do with the pickaxe?

You cant stick it where the sun never shines.

In the twin husks inventory, sell it to get some runes and cover your face with something.

Leave the poor workers alone, not their fault they are not unionized in Elden Ring.

Poor things dont deserve to get disrupted by you.

You know what pneumoconiosis is? google it im here to make you look better....nothing more.

The miners probably suffer of that and some severe skin infection.

Want to see a real rack. Watch Baywatch.

As said there is no great mistery.

Im here to help you look better.

Help me to help you.

You are welcome.

Didnt you said you are RL 170?

And manage to kill even crucible knights?

Why you dont put a bit more of effort boy?

Good content please....

And consistency

P.D: OP picked up troll as race and profession in Elden Ring. Thats why he is RPeing being one in the forums (just a warning in case you actually waste time without having fun like me). Oh there is no races in Elden Ring....im sorry.

What's the name of the weapon? There aren't many pickaxe type of weapons in the game that I'm aware of. Can you send a screenshot of the weapon or post a wiki link to it?

This is the only other "pickaxe" type of weapon I can think of that's on a smaller scale.

https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Warpick

But even so, this requires 11 strength so it would be the same issue I listed before about not meeting strength requirements.

I should also mention, the warpick does pierce damage rather than strike. The miners are weak to strike and resistant to other physical type of attacks.

Sigh....

On topic: Also you can make them explode (the ones who carry a glinstone with glinstone, and the ones with embers with fire) hitting with the proper element once in the back.

I see you are trying to help the OP and it pains me (as someone who tries to be a useful contributor in the forums) he probably played the game more than you but recently decided to continue his long forum carrier he started since Witcher 2.

Yes my friend you are being.....you know the rest. I hope this advice helps you.

Everyone have a good one.
