Rune farm before level 100?

I'm level 88 and reached the end game zone.

Currently working on levels and finishing my bleed build before progressing further. Using dual katana and seppeku.

I watched a number of farm videos and most rely on AFK sitting or for lower level players.

I'm looking to actively farm a zone then resetting at grace. Or something that will give runes fast and is repeatable.

I been farming and resetting the snowmen at East Capital Rampart which gives 10,000 runes and resets 1:30 with no risk of dying.

I'm not sure whats better?
I tried killing the big birds in Caelid but it'd not as many runes per minute.

Curious to what the answers will be. I usually try not to actively farm, instead, go around exploring trying to organically acquire some runes on the way, or when Im just testing new weapons so Ill need to be killing stuff over and over to get the moveset timing right on my head. But definitely curious either way because Im also 88 and I got my ass WHOOPED by a magma wyrm on volacano manor. I almost killed him like 5 times but the is insta killing my puny 35 vigor character hahaha, using that slamming move is one hit ko on me.

Mogwyn's Palace. Palace Approach Ledge Road. Take an AOE weapon or spell. Hoarfrost Stomp works well. Slaughter the Albinaurics clustered on the hill. Massive runes. Beware of red spiky ones.

Mogwyn's Palace. Kill big bird for 11k+ runes. Sit and repeat. About 67K runes a minute if you take 10 secs to kill and reset.

Kill big bird and use the Rejection incantation to knock 5 albinaurics off the ledge. That's 22k+ runes every 15 secs.

I love exploring but it's so easy to waste time and fight bosses that don't drop anything you need. While farming runes gets me a level every 5ish minutes at East Capital Rampart.

Right now this is the strongest I've felt after committing to this build. I did the Volcano boss yesterday and now have made it to the snowy end game zone and just want to be optimized before I start progressing.

I'm also enjoying myself so I don't want to finish too fast.

I actually try to keep my level low otherwise the challenge kinda vanishes.

hands down "Across the roots" in the deeproot depths. Kill the 4 stationary firebreathing dragon-statue things and repeat. literally no risk and quick asf

For bleed build, a fast early game farm before gaining access to Moghwyn Palace birds is the repeatable Greyoll boss farm in Caelid, which yields 50k runes per kill in less than 1 min. The farming speed depends on how fast bleed procs (7 procs to kill Greyoll) and stamina regens.

I tried earlier but I still haven't unlocked Moghwyn palace yet. You need to take a special tp port thing to get too it right?

I've also killed many of the bosses that are in the videos that require doing exploits like exiting at a certain time. It gives me a bit of anxiety now knowing that there are bosses that I shouldn't have killed or certain exploits I missed out on.

I believe there is two pieces I need from the same boss but I have to exit after killing her to get the two charms. There is another boss I cant kill because I need to kill invaders to get a mask I need for the bleed build.

I'll give finding the palace another go tonight. I was hoping it would be a place I could quickly ride to but it requires certain steps to get to that location.

Most of the guides say to max arcane to 80 for bleed. That's what I been leveling lately. I'm not very good at souls games so getting more levels will help me out a bit.

I've tried to farm albinaurics in Mohgwyn's - even with starscourge it's painfully boring and slow.
Just cheatengine some runes in offline mode(with disabled EAC ofc)

Is there any reason why you haven't picked up the Map Fragments for each area you've explored? They are marked on the map by a little obelisk marker.

running through the first part of Leyendell nets a good amount of runes if you kill all the little round dudes, the one big round dude, the statue dude and the ninja dudes.

Yeah its annyoing not having the maps. It takes me forever to just find where I need to go on the interactive map.

Yes that is the fastest one.

I ve seen some videos with some gravity ash of war to attract the albinautics and kill almost all of them with a couple of hits. So a bunch of runes more.

But i always end up shoothing the suicidal bird and reload.

Yeah that's a crazy amount of runes for killing a bunch of sitting pacifists. They must have put it there just for use to farm.

My ass was getting kicked by the subterranean bleed boss guy. I want to come back and destroy him. Pretty sure he is unaffected by bleed though..

while in your 80s levels you only need ~40k per level
in the later levels you need 200k+ for a single level

from 195 to 200 you need > 1,2 millions
