Example is any runback in Raya Lucaria... sure they aren't THAT bad but why not just put a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stake in front of the rooms??? Another example is Godskin Duo... the boss is brutal and there are two endgame enemies on the route to the boss why not use a stake???
that was my take away from it too.
i actually accidentally started the encounter while exploring and jumped off the cliff cos i already had him nearly dead on Phase 2 and didnt want to kill him yet.
went and did all the other snowy area and the H Tree first, finished some more stuff in the capital then came back.
killed him without even needing to heal lol (melee raptor claws)
There is a grace nearby just next to it. Look harder.
She *can* break out, but if its well timed, she can be stunned over and over again. It's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane.
Fire Giant it's just completely unneeded. it takes longer to go from the fogdoor to the boss, than from the grace to the fog.
Also for that Raya Lucaria argument, who cares if no stakes in her dungeon makes 'lore sense' it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks gameplay wise and this is a video game not a fantasy novel.
