Is there a way to complete Varre's quest offline?

I'm doing a full solo offline run for my 2nd character and afaik you have to invade people to advance his quest, Is there a way to avoid that step/ do it a different way?

I completed it, and just got the finger when the wiki said you are suppose to get his full set.

You can invade offline NPCs by doing the Volcano manor quests. I don't know if that counts though.

offline no. but you do not have to win the invasion at all. just invade. cancel out 3 times. that will progress his quest. offline its not possible to do this questline.

No. You can't. You can reach place only at mountaintop of Giants, at the west concentrated field.

If youre trying to get the rune farm, you can get it by getting to the consecrated snowfield area. There's a portal there covered in blood that leads to Mohg's area.

You already had that finger, it's your own ;) was kinda hoping your character would be missing one after that scene.
You get his set when you kill the 3 invaders in Mohgs area. (Make sure you do the invaders before killing Mohg or you won't be able to get it)

Thanks, that's where I prob 100% am now, and dealing with 'anything' around mohg was my personal concern about ruining it. ATM trying a npc 100% completion run. Much appreciated.

The invasion quest just gives the repeat use invasion item and the Mohg teleport item so you won't be able to get those, but you being offline the invasion item would be useless.
You might still be able to get his armour set with the Consecrated Snowfield teleport, but I'm not sure if his beginning quest is required for the NPC Invaders in Mohgs area.

It's not. I somehow missed Varre at the Rose Church, but was still invaded in the blood zone.

It's not. I somehow missed Varre at the Rose Church, but was still invaded in the blood zone.

yup can confirm, you can get his armor set without doing his quest, just use the teleport in consecrated snowfield.

according to this source, we can complete the quest line offline, it seems.

They patched the quest few months ago and you can do it offline no problem now. Instead of invading 3 players you need to kill a single new NPC.

Did they fix the ♥♥♥♥ with Hyetta's quest? Some NPC that drops an item to progress her quest doesn't invade if you clear the area beforehand lol
