Ranked PVP Ladder

Im puzzled by the lack of a built in ranked system. I figured players would absolutely love something like this. Yet i never see it implemented.

You all fail to realize, maybe because I can't prove it, that a great deal of pvp inclusion is intentionally missing from this game.
3v3 +, guilds in relation to story ark, more opportunity. It's all not there? Why do you personally think that is? Any guesses?

For me it is this simple. If you make a game you planned on letting die instantly so you can rush to market a clone of the formulas quick success this will be how all companies treat consumers in the future. A pile of sht released immediately after a unfinished bugged to all hell pile of sht. Hell that already is the modern practice, when will YOU the consumer wake up to it?

That's my only real question is how bad does it have to get for your personal ignorance to no longer deny reality?

This is not an MMORPG, or story-based RPG. It is single-player focused action RPG with multiplayer features. There is no reason to add ranked. Ontop of the problems people have already stated, multiplayer is only a side feature for this game.

If it is not your type of game, then don;t play it. I have friends that won't even think about buying fromsoft games. Maybe you should do this.

Ya, uh, obviously someone already pointed out it has some of the same features. My point is that this game has way more new players then returning souls fans, or at least a good number of new players that could use some clarification up front on the subject of these threads. When you treat someone like an idiot for not knowing all that the old souls games offer, it makes you and the OP look like the idiot. Not the other way around.

I just have to laugh at people trying to treat PvP in From Software games like it's some kind of competitive fighting game. It's not. PvP is super jank and imbalanced in every game. It has its appeal, obviously (the fight club scene wouldn't exist if it didn't), but let's not kid ourselves. Nobody is playing professional Elden Ring at EVO.

ds2 and 3 was good (if you dont count exploits ofc) everything else is bad true(ER included).About EVO, not every competitive game is on EVO or similar ♥♥♥♥.

So if you dont care every one else who care is cheater,idiot etc ? And cheaters in leaderboard mostly in games that don't care about its community like FromSoft,Rockstar for example.

I wonder how you would even create lore for it, like who's the big ♥♥♥♥ tarnished around that season.

clashes with the lone hero lore of this one, where the game at least try to make your character feel special and unique in this world, more so than your average hollow

You can do this ranking system by yourself. Just gather a community of people who are actually interested and have the host act as the referee. This will be more of a tournament style system unless you can actually find a ton of people willing to play into this, but at that point you'd also need to have several people willing to act as referees as well.

An automated system ingame will not work for this currently. You need real people to regulate matches in order to disqualify cheaters/exploit abusers. There is absolutely no way Fromsoft will ever make an automated system that can accurately do this, so you need to do so yourself.

with how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the netcode is, the EAC doing literal nothing against hackers, and all the gate keepers idol worshiping this abomination. I'm not surprised. Besides, there's no real way to properly rank players without a proper arena just for pvp.

Not so much 'not my type of game,' at all as I personally love ds style. It's more the fact rush to release half asses everything, and you can't deny this game has zero longevity in mind after release.

It wouldn't work, because this game allows third party hacks,.it's not like an MMO system.
