Mini Bosses are the hardest in the game
Anyone else feel this way? Most of the main bosses, yes, I have to fight a few times but there moves and stages of combat seem to be much more predictable. I just reached the last area of the game and im not finding it very enjoyable. Basically one mini boss to Boss fight with no exploration, discovery or leveling.
So far the gargoyles seem to be the hardest fights in the game. I generally have to fight them about 20-30+ or more times to beat them and I feel like its a combination of me playing the fight well and luck (them not doing fast, slow, mega AoE attacks in rapid succession) I was stuck on the capitol city Godfrey for a long time until I gave up trying to 2 hand the fight. Gargoyles seem the hardest at least for melee? Some attacks can be blocked while other will crack stance and stagger into 2 shot . Does the endgame get better? or is it just basically boss to boss to boss ?

I've noticed this when I was playing some catacombs, where they like to put Erdtree Watchdogs as common enemy. Holy hell, I haven't raged so hard from bosses comparing to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. :angry_yeti:

If you cannot kill them in a good way (for example, burn them down with Comet Azur) I would assume those to be a "just get around them" challenge. I mean they don't drop important items or a lot of runes iirc.
I am starting to think that is an intent of their placement as common enemy to try sneak past them.

Some of them, but it always turns out that it either takes patience (red wolves) or some specific strategy to make them easier.
