Game crashes instead of changing resolution. [BUG]
I was fiddling with graphic settings when i noticed that the resolution was set to 800x450 fullscreen. The game at that very moment was actually playing in fullscreen at 1080p. After clicking on 800x450 to open the resolution list, the game crashed. reopening the game and trying again, instead clicked on fullscreen, the same problem occured.

Tried multiple times, even after a PC restart but the problem persists. I've just updated to the latest Nvidia drivers and will be trying again later.

update 1: i tried again and the problem persists.

Might be a pc or driver issue, but will post this anyway since it seems relevant to share.

update 2: tried restore default settings button but still crashed.

update 3: tried switching between integrated graphics and nvidia graphics

update 4: [fixed] might be when i switched back to nvidia graphics. also opened geforce experience and set resolution and fullscreen from there. problem was resolved.

Thinking about the problem, it probably stemmed at least in some part from how nvidia is doing this thing that automatically tabs into the game when it opens and prevents tabbing out. I think so because attempting to tab out shrinks the game to the resolution it was stuck at when crashing.

what GPU do you use ?

some special models of GPU's are not fully compatible with the newer drivers.

Use the driver your Laptop manufacturer has at his driver page, deinstall the actual installed driver with DDU.
