Are there plans to add a perma-death mode to Elden Ring?
In its current state, it is not challenging enough for me. I had to refund the game.

You have multiple bans from cheating in the past. Why do you suddenly care about difficulty?
I was too good at the game they thought I was cheating. Gotta stick to single player games now adays unfortunately. Otherwise I'll always catch a false ban for being too good.
That's not how VAC works, and you know it. I hope you have stopped cheating.

delete your save when you die - bam done
Yes, but why can't it be automatic / forced?
Because it doesn't fit this game's gameplay style. Even lore wise, destined death does not exist, at least until the endings.

You want to hinder the other players' experience for clearly selfish reasons. The game will never have permadeath so play the way you want yourself.

OSRS has a permadeath mode, and its the only game I play. Elden Ring just isn't challenging enough, I can beat the whole game in under 100 hours on my first playthrough. Meanwhile I'm playing OSRS still with 5000 hours on my account and still not close to beating it. And it has a permadeath mode. I feel bad for you paying $60 for some inferior game that has no permadeath. Yikes!

Ah come on now, we don't need your pity. On the contrary, wasting 5000 hours of your life on OSRS is much more pitiful. But whatever makes you happy. Also, what are you doing here?
5000 hours and you still haven't beaten a game? Yikes.

Game has 10,000 hours worth of content, so of course not. At 5000 hours you're not even half way done.

Challenge run just for you, friends:
When you die, delete your save. No leveling, no torrent, no non-key equipment and item usage. You have to kill all bosses (obscure dungeon, and field minibosses included). Play with a blindfold on, also no hands allowed, play with your feet only like Miyazaki intended.
Sounds fun, I just wish it was an official game mode!

What does my comment have anything to do with the one about the pit? Are you also "too good" at being incoherent as well? Then "Get Good" and stop cheating.

False bans, please get better reading comprehension and read the thread entirely before commenting.

Highly doubtful, particularly due to how character saves work. From games have always allowed for a lot of self-paced difficulty and options, and that includes the option to delete your character upon death. While there are plenty of other games that build themselves around hardcore runs, Souls was traditionally not one of them, yet still allows you the choice to do so and that I believe is what puts it above other games that glorify death. But this is just my opinion.

OP doesn't care. he is a certified hood classic troll and would say the same thing like "it should have been in there to begin with, so hur dur bad game!" And you bring up valid points about the saves. But who knows Maybe there will be a hard-core mode in the future. OP would probably still hate it tho lol.

Gaming is so boring without a Perma-death mode, change my mind, anyone, please.
Pantoni 17/abr./2022 às 2:25
So... you want a perma-death mode. People tell you that you can just create a new character and start a new game if you die (you can even save the created one so you don't have to spend an hour each time).

A perfectly fine solution to your problem/demand/question/petition. But you wanted it to be automatic cause you're too lazy to move your cursor one or two times to the "New game" position.

Then you start bragging about how fabulous you're at gaming, and the rest of us can't handle it or some bs like that.

I guess you're better than Elajjazz, Distortion, the Happy Hob, that italian guy that did the god run with lv1 and many others. And yes, I know I'm talking about the previous games, but...

Here's another suggestion, if you die in the game, the game uninstalls itself and you have to buy it again. Give us a freakin' break please

Funny enough you''ve said that people can beat a boss first try after a lot of practice. So... how is it? first try or lot of practice? Cause you can't blow and s*ck at the same time. But maybe you can, cause you're too good at this...

Clearly, as someone stated before... you're just looking for conflict. Have fun!

Cheers!

Multiple VAC bans. Pfffft and you call yourself GOOD.

You don't have the strength to delete your own character when it dies which shows you would never play with hardcore mode on.

You can delete your character when you die
but if your awnser to that is

i will say, if you don't delete your character when you die, you were not mentaly ready for the no death run, or you are just unable to follow some basic rules you gave to yourself, or you have a weak will and are easily tempted to cheat (not deleting the character)
