What's the best weapon for an rl1 run with no stat increase talismans?

I wanna try doing a level 1 playthrough like I did with dark souls 1 and 3, but the baseball bat kinda sucks. What are your suggestions?

The lordsworn straight sword that drops from the basic knight enemies is a good one i'd say. Flat 10/10 requirement for STR/DEX and its weapon art is good enough for dmg and breaking postures

Serpent Hunter, the SL1 speedrunners use it and Golden Halberd a ton in the speedrun. Its a lot of charged heavy attack spam with the talisman that improves it and the physick also.
