Is this game hard to play without a controller?

I hate playing with a controller i didn't like dark souls 3 because the controls were garbage and you couldn't change them i only use a controller for platformers like spyro and crash bandicoot

Not impossible on KB/M I play with KB/M but it feels like there's input lag so I find it somewhat difficult to pull off no hits.

I've completed it with m/kb (except malenia, can't be arsed trying to solo her)

The controls can feel lackluster, but they are configurable (atleast to some extent), but you are going to be limited to controls as if it was a controller. Like no binding a key just for sprint and another for dodge, they're both on the same key.

I wouldn't recommend it without a Controller.
The best option would be a Xbox Elite Controller V2.

Mitchriz plays with keyboard and mouse afaik and he is one of the best ER players.

It may take some time to get used to it but its definitely possible

I have been enjoying playing with KB/M.
Might be worse off than with controller but i don't really feel any input lag and it works well enough.

i boxed all boss ingame without summon help or use range stuff with mouse and keyboard
so i guess mouse and keyboard work fine only thing u ll miss is controller vibration
but u ll have better freecam control with mouse :)

The freecam control is only truely usable if you're not moving, as the game autocenter the camera behind you whenever you move

Why only use controllers for platformers? Don't you think you should just use the appropriate input for whatever game you play instead of drawing arbitrary lines.

true and that is the main problem when game is build for console
but free cam still work fine when u move side way

I just finished the game using KBM. Only thing that i found to be annoying was some of the platform jumping. As WASD keys are less precise in this context for accurate directional movements.
