Your going to go up stairs and see an archer across. Dive into hall in left and follow. Keep in mind there are like 1-2 windows you can jump through for loot so you might have to take this path twice. One window is the very end so kind of obvious and the other is earlier on (iirc? unless mistaken). Dead end though so just some loot. The real end is the boss straight ahead near start past the fighting phantoms.
Be warned, boss is one of those rot ulc-wtf ever name was that squirms around a ton. Has rot breath so try to make sure you don't get pinned in any of the corners or you will probably not be able to run from that attack.
ah yes, those are intended to fight, all depends on your build, can only think of git gud
Crucible knghts are miniboss bronze armor with big shield/ spear dudes.
Worked pretty well for me.
But it's a slow, slow walk.
(be sure to bring along some bleed for the valkyrie near the ashes)
Terrible advice.
The one thing that I've found that reliably works when fighting those knights is finding something that can do a lot of posture damage/make them recoil. I personally used the Ash of War Glinstone Pebble with its follow up thrust attack. Look in your Ashes of War for some that may stagger them. Once you break their posture the first time, it's pretty much game over. You can wail on them when they're trying to get up and recover with a good heavy attack.
Edit: They are also immune to sleep arrows ;)
If you're still having trouble, you may have to do what another poster said and try using guard counters. Another option could be use status effects, such as different arrow types to inflict them with scarlet rot, or sleep (if that works, I haven't tested myself).
spears are pretty easy to parry, give it a shot, if he charges a horizontal swipe its the best shot
Edit: If you stay in first room too long, the others will come after you. Found a good opportunity to hit first arrow knight. When he aims to fire purple arrow, jump attack will stagger him, and you get to hit him 1 or 2 times after.
