Do the run down, drivers(not just video), bios, software versions etc
Reinstall windows maybe too, game is fuxked in the head but first heard of it doing that to people
Maybe file refund asap too under technical problems, rebuy on PS4 or just get game down road if ever fix this stuff
That doesn't mean the game is at fault. It could just be the first game that is causing those problems to manifest. Or it just conveniently aligned with you playing the game. AFAIK Elden Ring doesn't have widespread problems with BSOD, if this was more common it would be more believable that it's the game and not the problem with the system somewhere that the game is just happening to trigger.

seen some people mention that, but i wouldnt know
That could explain it. If you overclocked things too much, Elden Ring might just be pushing it to the edge and you're getting a BSOD. Turn things down a notch, or disable it completely and try again.
