Just because you know of the last boss, doesn't mean you don't play. You still haven't seen the part where John "BigBoy" Halo comes in with his ultra mecha suit (from Japan), and blows ♥♥♥♥ up. It's crazy dude, he even kills the lord of Kraft Foods, and then he gives his cliche one liner "Im too old for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" and then the game crashes

Knowing about something that will take you at most a couple of hours in a game that can potentially take you hundreds to complete isn't a deal breaker. That isn't a good reason to not play the game.

And even if you didn't know, you can easily guess that he is a boss while playing the game.

Lel - you will be constantly made aware of bosses that exist in the world - the NPCs will tell you about them and you will likely see their names online. These are not spoilers and you will still enjoy the game.
