That said there are tons of amazing tracks here, are we seriously ignoring the following:
Starscourge Radahn
Godfrey the first Elden Lord
Radagon of the golden order
Elden Beast
Rykard Lord of Blasphemy
Godrick the grafted
Godskin duo
Malenia, blade of Miquella
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Mohg, Lord of blood...
Of course there's personal taste, but saying that none of the tracks are good (while also mistaking the composer), not gonna lie it's completely wrong to do
The tracks made by Yuka Kitamura for Elden Ring do not reach the level of her previous songs that she made for the older Souls games and Bloodborne.
DS3 and Elden Rings OST are about as good to me.
Personally I think the music is fine. I haven't experienced the game fully on what its soundtrack offers, but I eagerly await playing more when I have time.
If your feel like you're missing out on melodies you enjoy form previous games and wanted a reprise and it wasn't put into Elden Ring. It can feel alien to you. A lot of the time there is an expectation of wanting that music to be as memorable as previous uses from the same composer, but for some it just strike them like it did on earlier attempts.
I've heard remixes variations of music in FF7 Remake and most of the new music I am not fond of. The techno isn't exactly my cup of tea. Given the fact that most of the music from the same composer for decades is classical and orchestrated. Although the remix of music in the OG was done well. Sadly it was done too well that they decided to throw almost every piece of music into part 1 of this game. I fear there will be little of the OG music in the next game.
Again, it might just be high expectations of their previous work that you enjoyed. But if there is no room in your heart to embrace something new in the music for Elden Ring currently, there isn't much anyone do.
