War cry ash of war removes Enchants/greases?

I cant be the only one that noticed this right? this cant be intnentional enchant spells are already a joke atm due to bleed being a thing is this a bug/conflict?

guess i never ran faith /warcry before but still enchants already only last 60 secs this just makes em even more pathetic

any ash that is set to elemental damage does that - you cant buff the blade twice afaik

Any weapon that deals a secondary damage type cannot be enchanted.
Whether that is with an Ash of War or on the base weapon doesnt matter.

you might be confused by what i mean. it is when you use the skill, as in when you war cry it removes the enchant from the blade i dont mean its unenchantable i mean it removes it you can war cry first and then apply enchants but not the other way around also doesnt help war cry lasts a lot shorter than enchants so youre double better of just infusing instead of enchanting when using it seems more like an oversight and as the other guy mentioned apperantly an engine related issue/dark souls legacy so im guessing not intentional

if I am not mistaken war cry gives you another damage buff (physical) so I guess makes sense that it replace your elemental buff (grease) from the weapon

You can use the physical/fire enchant with lightning.
