Blaidd Questline

So I went through Nokron, I released Blaidd from the Evergaol that Iji trapped him before doing so, and got no invasion south of the Nokstella waterfall basin in the red room just before the lake of rot. Did I mess this up? I waited until after he didn't invade to go back to Ranni, she thanked me and disappeared, came back and he's still not invading.

Can I not complete this questline now? Where did I go wrong here? I'm guessing I should avoid getting the treasure from the Eternal City, skip it, and go to the invasion area first?

dunno he even invaded, he was just agro outside ranni's rise after killing Astel for me, which concluded his quest

did you find the mini ranni in ainsel river? you have to take her to a grace and talk to her before blaidd's phantom appears

What this guy said, you have to talk to the Ranni doll a couple of times and just make sure to exhaust all the dialog the doll has.

What this guy said, you have to talk to the Ranni doll a couple of times and just make sure to exhaust all the dialog the doll has.

this has nothing to do with blaidd(nor his questline), the phantom youre talking about is the Baleful Shadow

Does the Grace matter? I see the dialogue option but the doll just gives me "..." and that's it.

u talk to it 3 times, but once again.. unrelated to blaidd, the doll does give some lore though if u keep talking at different grace sites

As soon as you get the Nokstella treasure, then you advance into Ranni's quest, so yeah, if you already got it before Blaidd invasion he won't invade. But it doesn't prevent you to finish Blaidd's quest, the invasion is like a "bonus" (useless bonus IMO).

You fight Blaidd as a Baleful Shadow which the doll gives you a quest to kill the Baleful Shadow. If you read what the posted he's trying to fight Blaidd's shadow.

that is not blaidd, its one of many just like him though, read the lore on the wolf mask

edit: also if u would read the wikilink i posted u can see this entire miniature doll questline is not mentioned anywhere on Blaidd's page
