Help! Suddenly Dexterity points removed - from 38 down to 6?!

Hello, I had my dexterity leveled to 38 and while fighting in a dungeon and being killed by two trolls, after respawning, my Dexterity level was scaled down to 6 points (respectively 1 without Radagon's Soreseal talisman)
All my weapons are unusable, I can only use the club now!

Does anyone know how this can happen and what might be a fix? Is it a savegame bug or...? Really not feeling like starting the character again (and again)...

I asked for the reason this might have happened... is it a savegame bug? Has this happened to anyone else? What if a person doesn't have a save game backup?

That doesn't make sense in the context the OP is stating. Unless they ALT + F4'd and the cloud save bugged out. If they just died to an enemy and respawned with altered stats, that's something completely different.

How does one get 6 dex? Is there even a class that has as little as 6 dex? Surely a weird bug.

You should try filing a ticket with Namco, although they are about as helpful as a bird in your oatmeal. You're still more likely to get an answer from that than here.

No, I didn't mean "trolls" as in other players. Two ingame enemies. After respawning at the grace point and looking into inventory, Dex is down to 6. I can't even use the scimitars I started with as warrior anymore!

Tested DPS on some lower level enemies and I basically don't do any damage anymore. The scimitars (leveled to +12) can still hit, but Dex stays down at 6...

I really don't feel starting all over again. What a ... f... unfortunate thing!

Oh that's true. I thought they meant the literal Troll enemies. Sounds weird either way.

Can you post a screenshot of your status screen? Like someone else said, none of the classes can even reach a dexterity of 6.

Thanks, yeah, that might be a solution... or not. It's just really, really frustrating. I searched already on Reddit etc if it happened to someone else, just found someone saying, it happened to Intelligence, but far less loss in points.

it's not a satisfying solution, but you can backup this save, just in case, and then get a working Cheat Engine script, re-adjust your Dex to its proper value, go online again and hope EAC has a good day.

Very strange indeed.

Even if you lost Godrick's rune effect, that would only be -5.
Maybe in a moment of beeing diverted by something (just a wild guess) you had multiple talismans unequipped which give dex (Soreseal / Heirloom / Prothesis)?

Other than that my only idea is to reborn yourself via larva in hoping the game re-calculates your lvl (+ forgotten stats) and you can give yourself the 38 dex back.

Sounds like you had a stat buff from the rune arc.

Is it just your dex? Or overall level?
If its the 1st then someone hacked you or you somehow hacked them in.
If its 2nd then idk cause no character Has 6 dex and it won't get that low on its own
