Omen Ogres enemies

Anyone know something they are weak to? cause these guys are beyond annoying to deal with...

The wiki says nothing about it, and i tried all 3 types of physical dmg, all with low results.

big weapons stagger them almost infinitely
add bleed to it and they get at most one hit in per ogre killed

Pretty much this. Have a look in your Ashes of War to see if there's anything that does big poise damage. On my spellblade I used Glintstone Pebble with its follow up thrust attack and it did well against them.

Weapon arts, jump attacks and charged R2's. It's all about breaking the posture of these guys as quickly as possible and they're pretty much done for.

Jump attacks. You can get a riposte on them in 3-5 hits depending on your build. They also stagger fairly easily.

I believe they can be backstabbed. I usually wait for a big attack with a long recovery, then backstab.
