Radahn festival bug

I'm playing with a friend and we can't get the Radahn festival to start, so Radahn is unreachable. We did the whole lists on the internet of the medallions+lift, sellen, ranni, alexander, etc.. Any ideas?

Just taking a swing at helping but maybe try reaching him without cooping and see if your solo games allow you to reach him. Could be a limitation of coop

There is only 1 thing you need to do to enable the festival

Use the Lift of Dectus 1 time.
Thats all
This enables the festival

there is nothing ! else you have to do

if you try solo
use lift 1 time
go back
Radahn should be fightable
if not game is bugged

I'm on my second playthrough, killed Radahn twice, and I never used the lift of Dectus. My understanding is that the festival gets enabled when you reach Altus Plateau, using the lift or not doesn't matter.

Anyway, going there solo to check the castle's state is good advice.

^ This. Lift of Dectus doesn't matter- just get to a single SoG on the Altus Plateau. Easiest and fastest (imo) is to go through the ravine instead of using the lift of Dectus. After that, do not summon your friend until you are down in front of Radahn's arena, right in front of the sending gate.

This could be it : activating a site of grace on Altus Plateau, maybe OP simply didn't do that ?

I usually do Radahn before using the lift. Triggering it with Ranni's questline. Didn't know the festival would also trigger when using the lift. The more you know ^^

Well i made a new char some time ago
and went straight to radahn....
festival didnt trigger
googled it and activated the lift

Festival did trigger

My char has 2h playtime and basically did nothing except for beating Crucible+Misbegotten duo + some xp farming and doing Lift ;)

and its enough for radahn

The solution was to continue Sellen's questline for some reason
