It actually made me laugh out loud. And even better, if you get hit by one of the knights coming down the stairs, you try to heal as soon as you get into the boss arena. Then the knights hit you AGAIN - in the arena. The boss fight hasn't even started and you're already down two healing flasks.
I'm sorry, but I don't care how "git gud" you are, NO PLAYER can dodge attacks coming from two bosses, and two additional enemies from four directions at once. And at the same time try to pause to heal with a flask, and at the same time get off your spirit summons in time before the Godskin close in on you. It's just beyond absurd.
I mean From, c'mon. It's not enough to have to rush in and face a double boss? I also have to get hit from behind by guys out in the hallway and waste a healing flask as the Godskin duo start to attack as well? Then there's the wonderful feature of your spirit summons attacking the guys through the mist barrier while ignoring the bosses, totally wasting them. For the life of me, I don't understand why From didn't just make the boss room seal off when you pass through the barrier. Enemies attacking through it is insane. If you want me to fight the boss, let me fight the g*d damn BOSS. Don't make me also fight against impossible mechanics from four different directions that render me helpless.
It also adds to the fun that the fat guy's lunging sword stab attack clips right through the pillars. They are solid cover from their ranged spells but are strangely porous when a weapon is shoved through them.
I mean, it's just a moment where you go ok, this is not a fun challenge, the game just doesn't want you to succeed.
Well of course they can be destroyed! But they're STONE. You are confusing physical solidness with temporal. Temporal does NOT mean they not tangible. Until they get destroyed you shouldn't be able to shove a sword straight them. Explain to me how they are a solid object when a spell is cast at you but suddenly become non-solid for physical attacks. It's a clipping issue. They are either solid cover or not. And also, MY sword attacks can't hit THEM through the pillars, but theirs can hit me? No, sorry.
You guys crack me the f' up! Will you STOP with this crap? Of course I've gotten proficient! How do you think I got to that point in the game!!! You know exactly what bosses I've beaten to get to this point. You think I don't know how to play the game? We're not talking about getting good or getting more proficient. We're talking about over the top stupid hard.
Please reserve your f'n narcissism for another time and place. Or better yet just keep it to yourself, it's worn out.
I'm sick and tired of players with this, "ohhhhhh that boss was easy, I don't know what your problem is. I guess you just have to be awesome, and you're just not." AH HAAAH HAAAH, oh you're so funny, and so super awesome.
News flash - everybody isn't you. Shocking I know.
So by your logic, stone walls should only be a physical barrier SOME of the time but not others??? And what parameters and rules would apply? Every other arrow? Every other sword thrust? What you are saying makes no sense. Why have any stone objects in the game be solid at all then?
Please reserve starting something the title screen. Nobody cares if you say you "got gud", it's just funny how much it bothers newer folks - literally 2 words able to throw so many people into a rage
And one could say the same thing reversed. Am so sick of hearing how every single boss in every single FROM game gives someone a hard time. Of course it's hard, that is the whole point! Congratulations on pointing out the most obvious things you could.
Up next - fire hot at 11
But if I got there much earlier in the game, maybe not. But it was one of the last things I did before finishing the game.
