ELDEN RING

the crumbling farum azula is the worst experience ive ever had while playing a video game
the title is true without any shred of doubt. I dont know who thought it was a good idea to put every annoying enemy in the entire game into this one area. Banished knights, the little rats with swords, the storm birds, and even a 2v1 boss fight (which is seen as one of the worst boss fights in the entire game) are all in this one area and ive never experienced a worse time playing a video game in my whole life

lol use appropriate talismans and resistance buff no 1 shotting. not even close.
Sorry I didn't google the boss to find out that I needed the fire resistance buff and the fire resistance talisman (+2) and also 70 vigor and to not be sprinting or ending a roll to not die to the laser beam attack that the dragon that deals lightning damage does.
you dont need to google it. you have an attempt and make a logical observation that hes using fire and lightning..... 2nd attempt you change the talismans and buffs appropriate for the boss......
git gud.

How do you deduce that the lightning dragon with all the lightning attacks is going to use an attack that does around 2k fire damage?

like i stated in what you quoted and obviously failed to read. you attempt the boss and you can clearly see that hes using lightning them breathes fire all over the place that does lots of damage if you get hit. you adapt on 2nd attempt by making appropriate changes.

you know. its called using your eyes.

His fire doesn't do a lot of damage. None of his attacks barring the laser do really.

Dreg Heap swamp.

oh the nostalgia... that place was awesome and terrible at the same time.
It is a end game run fyi?
You'd expect it to be difficult. When you think of what happens after the tree this is a automatic route, and a fun challenge.
Not every annoying enemy, but yes you get a large does of larger, and not as easily poise broken enemies. That's not so bad if you use your build right.

Certainly intended to be a challenge between multiple dragons, hellish birds, and other fun surprises. Think that was the entire point, and a fairly neat map picked up by the Land of Oz tornado on route to not so Kansas.

Will admit when not ready for it it's a challenging run. The enemies are overly numerous, and can shred your hp rather quickly I agree. Twins are not so bad, just clean swept them a second run this a little help. Summons signs, among other options are there for a reason.
Fact it ends with beast boy makes for a cruel cherry on top.

You obviously never got lost at Ringed City and the area before or Blighttown going a bit underleveled coming from the far-upper entrance, CFA is actually quite on the easy side (and 2x1 boss fights are not something new to a souls game, if you think 2x1 is complicated try 3x1 on a much smaller arena without any obstacles against 3 AoE beyblades or 1 single woman that will mop the floor with your ass over and over that before she gets pissed.
I wonder how OP found the Haligtree was...I'm guessing he didn't hit the Haligtree and as a result is under leveled for Farum...

The place wasn't that bad...the birds pissed me off..but srsly even the dragons are easy
I hated the zone with the water fowl woman. To me the bubble guys on the branches and the section with the ballistas guarding the stairs with the erdtree

most people that find the game super hard don't really level at all in the harder areas of the game. they die to often losing their runes. these people generally only level by rune farming locations so missing an area like the Tree generally have little impact on their level.
That place is where I spend most of the time helping others after beating the game. I didn't remember how I felt at first. But it is just no problem now. If I had to say, those banished knights are really XXXX.

The dual wielding one with his back to you can be vicious if he manages to turn around and get at you or the one with the halberd at the start of their area.

Some go even further as to not even bother farming..I was taking a guess that the OP was one of those

While subtly hinting at a place for him to go that's even harder lol
