Can you make heavy / strength weapons attack faster with improving dexterity?
Does it help improving your dex to make your heavy wappens attack faster, or it's the same ? or it's just a requirement (to equip the weapon) and not a skill u benefit from.

No, Dex only affects the speed of casting.

So for Str builds, its just a requirement

No, it's the same depending on your weapon.

If you level DEX you can wield weapons with higher DEX requirement and you can increase damage according to DEX Scaling. E is bad scaling, D better to A and S is best. Better scaling means more damage per DEX level
Also some consumables like throwing knive profit from DEX.

Actually, I've heard DEX reduces animation lengths. Dunno if that's true, probably not

Its not for anything but spells
And even then its minor

Not really, with some spells the difference is noticeable, but if the spell was already fast, then yeah, not much point to it.

dex applies to spells, it does speed them up quite a bit actually and in a game like this cast speed can make a huge difference.
animations are set in stone for weapons however.
generally if you want the most damage out of a weapon for the least stat investment you go 54 strength so when you two-hand you get 80 strength bonus. in some cases some weapons like uchigatana or nagakiba actually do more damage on heavy infusement than dexterity. use dex if you intend to weave spells inbetween your attacks.

This is correct. Virtually unnoticeable without wasting a lot of points in dex meaning your build should be semi hybrid if doing this at all. Otherwise yes it's 100% dex = animation reduction. Recent patched reduced factors of animations, and casting times.
