dragonclaw/beastial sling
i have no idea where to post bugs and stuff, but dragonclaw has this cool interaction with beastial sling; if you cast dragonclaw > beastial sling > dragonclaw in rapid succession, the second cast of dragonclaw becomes a simple hand wave, but deals all the damage, stagger included, that a fully animated dragonclaw would (consumes full fp as well). easily recreate-able, but haven't found the interaction with any other spells, or spell input order.

it's pretty op, doesn't seem intended? idk, i just got this game today.

It's just another weird chaincast. Don't know if those are bugs or not, but they often lead to really wonky animations. Like bestial sling > lightning strike/honed bolt > black blade or x2 bestial sling/catch flame > dragon magma spell, both of which are common to see in duels even though they probably shouldn't be there. I think chain casting is intended, but I'm not sure if all the possible combinations were intentional. There are a variety of incantations and some sorceries that can chain cast, usually they're the same time of spell, like bloodthorn sorceries and lightning strike and honed bolt incants.

Now the reason nobody noticed this particular combination is because it literally requires you to have at most 4 spells, or to use it consistently, probably only two (because it's hard to consistently swap more than two spells forward for a chaincast).

it's not cool and it's a glitch/exploit that needs to be patched

Yeah thats an exploit thing, where you skip animations
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
