Time consuming isn't a synonym for difficulty.

souls game were never that hard in the first place

No they asked for Story mode cause they suck at this game and want to remove all kind of difficulty.

Always funny reading how many people say souls games are not that hard. I wonder how many of them i was summoned to help then they get vig checked and die in one hit. Or how many of them lose to 2 vs 1 pvp. People complaining about the time consumption of a game probably should not play a game. I don't want to sound rude, but you either have time management or you don't and this game allows quit saving, which allows you to resume where you left off.

More time consuming than hard in the long run. It's only hard toward the beginning of a new playthrough but gets less daunting as one progresses and gits guder.

I mean they are just several games still way harder, especially bullet hell games and certain rogue likes

All sort of different approaches to fabricating difficulty in a game that takes place in a virtual world. Some games make things difficult by having bad controls and limiting the player as much as possible and some games are hard because the design unintentionally is bugged and makes it hard. Interpersonal goals also can be a factor right? playing COD is easy being the best COD player is not. To all the people that say Elden ring is not hard, you need to factor in what you where trying to do, what guides you where following, etc. Elden ring is very punishing just like a souls games especially if you play blind. The game gets easier as you level up (no suprise) but you can also mess up your own leveling if you make a mistake.

The game is easy enough that you can beat it using only rain.

I don't foresee anything changing. The company is silent. Has not been anything really catchy and fun since Ghost of Tsushima. No Mans Sky is still the best go to relax game.

It kind of dawned on me that souls games aren't necessarily ridiculously hard. They're just very time consuming. It's hard when you lose patience in a fight and get killed because you just want the fight to end already and try to get in a hit but instead get 1 shot. As a result players get discouraged when they see what's required of them to learn the fight and quit.

A relative of mine asked me for a good game recommendation. And I said Elden Ring. But then I said I don't think he would have enough time for this game since he is a full time truck driver and on the road 12 hours a day. But I did say his kids may like this game.

I think the time consuming nature of the game is why so many have asked for some kind of story mode.

I would like to go another round after beating this. But I don't want to spend another 100 hours getting everything done.
Name something hard that isn't time consuming.

This joke is only funny because some people do unironically care about that rating ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. lol

To op: I'd rather do chores than play this game, the former being less repetitive and time consuming.
1 hour in and absolutely no idea what to do or where to go :steamhappy:

I guess it will come over time
