Latenna quest?

I have her spirit ashes and am at Apostate Derelict and she's sitting there. I can't summon her ashes and I've walked back and forth from the steps toward her and back and I'm not getting any prompt. What am I doing wrong?

Same, broken for me twice now I believe if she doesn't talk to you after the shack, you can't activate summon at Apostate Derelict.

I know I talked to her at least twice at the shack because I couldn't figure out what she was there for. I did talk to someone after I was able to take the "secret path" but I really can't remember if it was Latenna or not. I finished the Albus quest but I don't remember talking to her either. Such a waste of time, I needed the smithing stone.

There's a trigger near the beginning of the area you finish her quest in.

That is most likely the trigger for the last part of the quest.

I've done latenna's quest without the other haligtree medallion piece with a marika stake skip so that's what your problem should be.

I've done latenna's quest without the other haligtree medallion piece with a marika stake skip so that's what your problem should be.

I believe that not getting her spirit ashes by her own accord results in her quest irreversibly failing.

If you show her Albus' Medallion she will willingly turn into spirit ashes, if you do that, you should be able to finish her quest once you reach the church with the giant Albinauric, but if you got her ashes without her doing so (killing her, or she died on her own after progression), the quest cant be completed.

So i have the same problem. Got the ash, standing at the Apostat Direlect infront of the lady and no prompt to summon anything anywhere ( i have looked around plenty ). GREAT! Can it be fixed or Is it just forget the whole thing and continue w the game?

ok if you didnt figure this out already (i know its been 2 years), you dont summon latenna with ashes -- it's literally a prompt that comes up a few steps in front of the big lady that says 'summon latenna'. i walked around here for almost an hour looking for it bc im finally getting around to doing character quests lol

It's probably not a bug, Just FromSoft making everything worse for everyone, because they suck at designing quests, and constantly decide to make it our problem. If you just found her ashes instead of talking to her, you are permamently locked out of that quest.
