ELDEN RING

Regarding Veteran'S Set...
Yeah i think this set is BS.

Just compare its Poise to the Tree Sentinel armor which is the exact same Weight

Vet: 79
Tree: 60

How come this set has 19 more poise for the same weight? thats just nonsense to me.

While theres other armors that have stuff like this happening, so far Veteran's set appears to be the biggest offender by a huge margin, the other cases arent even close to being this bad, but this? yeah, just badly balanced.

Has the same poise as the lionel st but weighs less, I end up using it on every build cuz it's just basically the best.

Which is stupid tbh, it either should weight more, or have its stats nerfed.
How about buffing some of the others so they make more sense comparing to the vets armor.

But no. Nerfing is the first thing that comes to mind. Since nerfs are so fun. There is an reason why people always use the best armors. Because most of the others suck. There is either fashion souls.. wizard light dude or vet/bull mix. Thats it.
That's awesome keep up the good work.
Yes... yes... Nerf everything until it's all equally useless. Only then will people be satisfied. :er_sweat:

Or maybe they used it, cause this armor is stupidly good compared to all others.

You keep crying like people want things to be useless and not balanced mate.

News Flash, people asking for nerf (At least not the dumb ones) dont want the thing in question to be nerfed into the ground.

No really it should all be nerfed into the ground and made completely useless. If you're not a sweaty nerd on the DDR pad wearing a diaper controlling a lvl 1 also naked dude weilding anything but a club it doesn't count. Step on me harder daddy miyazaki. :er_uwu:
Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of nerfing things (I actually like that FS has been buffing things instead of nerfing everything), but there are certain huge offenders that need a nerf. Rivers WA, Moonveil WA, Pebble's damage scaling, these are all the commonly discussed ones. Veteran's set is one that isn't often mentioned, but I agree 100%. It provides the best poise to weight ratio by far, and is the go-to twink armor for a reason. It's an armor set that stands head and shoulders above the rest, especially considering how powerful poise is. It needs a reduction in how much poise it provides, if anything just so we see more armor variety in PVP.

So "powerful" that to avoid painlock from butter knife you need 30 poise and you can't get enough poise to hold through greatweapon without a ring. Wow, so powerful.

With enough poise you can tank a greatsword uncharged R2.

Greatweapons deal 100 poise damage, exactly as much as bull goat set (poise MVP set) gets, which gives stagger.

If you wanna make a proper argument in good faith, I'll respond. Else, kindly shut the ♥♥♥♥ up.

Poise needs to be higher that the poise damage to prevent the first hit from staggering, so if a weapon does 100 poise damage you would need 101 poise.

So you can spot when someone stacks poise easily since only two sets give abnormally high returns on the weight.

Also it is a decent tradeoff between poise and fashion. Still can reach 67 with a lot of options + talisman though.
