Fun Builds?

What are some fun or even strong builds? I am still in the early game but I'd like to know some if I should go for a new run or something like that.

"Fun" is so enslaved to personal preferences... care to elaborate on what you find “fun”?
For example, there are arse appreciators and bosom believers. In the same avenue, in ER there are many many different archetypes. If it is your first run, I would suggest to “stick” to one, max 2 stat as your main ones, otherwise you become jack of all trades killed by all.
EDIT: also, pump vigor to 30/40 for the love of Ranni!

You're right. Probs a dumb question since I am not entirely sure what exactly fun to me is in ER considering I am pretty new to it. Thought I'd ask regardless. But I'll keep your advice in mind, thanks as well to you

Spell weapons only, Carian Slicer, Carian Piercer, etc. It's a fun twist on magic combat, you even have the Loretta spells for range.

Yeh, my first run i wanted to go "magic swordsman" the cliche you know ;p
Untill i found my first colossal sword, loved em so much i dumped the original idea and went all str build, dual wield colossal swords, heh, was very fun ;p

But don't be afraid to exp like peeps said, you can relocate your stats a lot
passed a certain point, does require a "certain consumable" but thats what wikis are for.

-magic pebble that melts early bosses
-katana start that for some reason deals ridiculous damage on top of bleed

Yea bleed damage seems to be strong in this game, perhaps I am wrong tho. Thank you :)

I am a traditionalist. I am stuck with pure attribute builds like strength, dex or intelligence. I am boring as hell.

Early game? Try dex weapon and bleed (level up arcane). Exam like an Uchigatana and "Bloody Slash" Ash of War, it will do bleed build up and do great amount of damage to bosses if leveled correctly

Nah man I don't think that makes you boring. I pretty much ran for the majority in my DS3 playthrough pure attribute builds as well. Only way later I started to try out different stuff like Strength + Faith.

Even now I am running a STR build in ER.
